We explained the main idea of the midrash and how it serves as a thematic framework for reading the megilah, and we concluding by connecting this theme (albeit with a speculative theory) to the obligation to get drunk on Purim.For a written version of 80% of this shiur, check out my article entitled: Human Expectations and Divine Redemption.
