Mark 7:6-9 A significant failure of many churches is poor and/or unbiblical teaching regarding sexuality which has caused many to deconstruct their faith and leave the church. But maybe our greatest failing is that we have missed the larger message about our sexuality – that we are made for intimacy, created for covenant, and are pursued by a Bridegroom who awakens our love, redeems our sin, and invites us into eternal union with Him. This sermon will seek to address how the church has failed in this area, and then point hearers to a biblical, beautiful vision of sexuality.
