Purple Line Bus Route Launches on Indy's East Side, Wayne Township School Board Race, Advocates Say Medicaid Waitlist is Barrier to Care, The 2024 Race for Indiana Attorney General

from WFYI News Now

After nearly a decade of planning, IndyGo launched its second bus rapid transit line, the Purple Line. Four candidates are vying for three at-large seats on the Wayne Township School Board. The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration implemented a waitlist for certain Medicaid services more than six months ago — and advocates say it’s created a significant barrier to care for medically complex Hoosiers. The race for Indiana attorney general is more competitive this year than it’s been in a long time.
