James got his first big break working in radio at the legendary dance station WKTU in New York City. Within weeks of being hired, at the young age of 21, he quickly became the youngest mixshow DJ on New York radio. Praised by clubgoes, promoters, club managers and his music industry peers, James has shown a tremendous amount of versatility in the DJ booth. From soaring vocal house sets, to tribal afterhours, to poolside classic tea dances, James has maintained a reputation as a dance music jack-of-all-trades to his followers around the globe. Much like his live sets, James’ remixes have been hailed as peak hour staples- producing tracks for some of dance music’s most legendary vocalists and producers, such as Deborah Cox, Betty Who, Tony Moran, Kathy Brown, Kimberly Davis, Franklin Fuentes, Terri B, Peppermint, La India and many more. His popular “Circuit Workout” podcast is enjoyed by fans around the globe.
