Suffering is something that has been repeatedly highlighted to me over the past couple months. What really is suffering as a tool in God's hand? Why do believers have to endure this horrid experience? Why are we expected to be partakers in suffering? How does suffering work in my favour? The questions could keep on coming. Well, in today's post, I share a few of the lessons I've learnt on suffering, and why this is a believer's cross. My hope with sharing this is to help you reframe your suffering: Past, present and future experiences. Being able to see things through God's lens can change everything. In getting to know God's heart on the matter, it is my prayer that you are encouraged, fuelled with hope and submitted to God and the process He has you in, while you wholeheartedly trust and believe that He will come through for you. If you love the Lord, and are called according to His purpose, it can ONLY work for your good.
