Purpose of Marriage

Some will say that marriage is about companionship, and it is. Some will say that marriage is about bringing children into the world, and it is. Some will say that it is about avoiding sin, and it is. But even if we ascribe to marriage all of these worthy attributes, if we go no further, we still are not thinking deeply enough about the purpose of marriage.
