Purpose Versus Presence

from Imago · host Vanessa P. Brown

In this episode of the Imago Podcast, host Vanessa Brown, uses Psalm 27:8, "My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, LORD, I will seek." as the foundation of her discussion. Many of us seem to struggle with what our purpose actually is in life. We can state what our career or job is but that does not define what our purpose is, or what God expects from us. Vanessa leads a discussion about why this is a struggle for many and how we can easily solve this dilemma if we choose to do so. We must live a life yielded to God by seeking his face. What does that mean for us. It means defining what "seeking God face". This episode discusses the difference between our purpose, calling and assignment. It then opens a deeper discussion about how the presence of God reveals his purpose to us.
