Purposeful Imperfection

The Levitical priesthood could regulate worship, but it could never reconcile worshipers. In Hebrews 7:11–12, we see that Jesus did not come to repair Aaron or improve Levi, but to establish a better priesthood and bring His people into the presence of God. The shadows have passed, the final sacrifice has been offered, and our great High Priest now serves according to the power of an indestructible life. You do not need another chance to save yourself. You need the Priest who lives forever.
