Pursuing a Senior Project Management Career in the Pharmaceutical Industry with Erin Ellwanger, MPH

Erin Ellwanger, MPH is a Senior Project Manager in North America Commercial Strategy and Operations at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. In her role at Vertex, she is responsible for project managing core business activities such as product launches and annual business planning, leading the planning and execution of sales and field training meetings and driving key department initiatives. In today's episode, we'll be diving into Erin's pathway leading up to Vertex, what opportunities she took advantage of during her academic career that led to her role now, insights into her day-to-day as a Sr. Project Manager at a global biotechnology company, and lessons she has learned that others can apply if they are interested in pursuing a similar career pathway.  Erin first became interested in the biotech industry as a life science consultant at Boston Healthcare Associates. Erin received her Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College and holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University.
