Dr. Stanford also specializes in turtles and tortoises. The conversation blends Dr. Stanford’s vast knowledge of both behavioral and social ecology with conservation biology in relation to Testudines. There is exchange of views on the greater implications of conserving turtles in relation to the strategy behind IUCN listing.
