Pursuit without Partition
from Sermons at the Shed · host Eythan Tibbs
In our spiritual journey, we often create hidden chambers in our hearts—places we wall off from God and others. These partitions severely limit what God can do in our lives and prevent true healing and transformation. Pursuing God without partition means removing these self-imposed boundaries and allowing Him complete access to every part of who we are. These hidden chambers typically contain our deepest struggles: fear of rejection, bitterness, shame, pride, insecurity, and avoidance of pain. We're experts at disguising these walls with spiritual language—calling fear of rejection 'loving people well,' masking bitterness as 'healthy boundaries,' hiding shame behind 'healthy distance,' disguising pride as 'confidence,' covering insecurity with 'excellence,' and masking avoidance as 'strength.' God wants access to every part of our hearts because He can't fully heal what we won't fully surrender. As Ezekiel 36:25-26 promises, He wants to give us a new heart and spirit, but He needs our permission to break down these walls. The healing process might get messy, like a construction site that looks worse before it gets better. This is why community is essential—sometimes our healing is held up because we're trying to keep it just between us and God when He intends for us to walk through it with others. By acknowledging these partitioned areas to God, sharing them with trustworthy believers, and inviting God to do His demolition work, we open ourselves to the complete transformation He desires to bring.🌐 Websitehttps://theshed.church📘 Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/TheShedatProvence📷 Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/theshed.church🎵 TikTokhttps://www.tiktok.com/@theshed.church📺 YouTubehttps://www.youtube.com/@TheShedatProvence
