Randomly surfing the local radio stations this past Saturday night, Matt Sonzala stopped on Austin's own community station KAZI 88.7 FM and heard a strong track called "What Happened to Austin?" Thankfully the DJ said the artists name - Lench - directly after the song, and Matt found him right here on Soundcloud. The song is a powerful indictment of what has been happening in Austin, from a real native who has strong roots in both South and East Austin. While he agrees that progress can be good, he also shakes his heads as so much of what he loved about his hometown has disappeared. Lench puts this situation into words like no rapper before him.
