Pushing the Envelope using Interactive StoryTelling with Bernie S

from The Tech Cat Show · host Lori H. Schwartz

On this week's Tech Cat show we wrap up a two part series on creators who are pushing the envelope with storytelling and technology. Bernie Su is a two-time Primetime Emmy award-winning interactive storyteller, creator, and showrunner. He is currently the showrunner of Artificial, the first live audience-interactive science fiction series to debut on Twitch. His previous works include The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, a ground breaking interactive adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. The series spawned 70 million views across 160 videos and 35 social media accounts. It won the first Primetime Emmy Award for a YouTube distributed series and was adapted into a novel, thus making it the first novel based on a web series based on a novel. He won his second Emmy for Emma Approved, an interactive re-imagination of another Austen novel, Emma. You'll learn alot about storytelling on this week's TechCat Show with Bernie Su, interactive storyteller.
