Pushing the limit of 3D printing and trying new 3D Printing Filament – Matthew Gorton– Ep32 Matthew Gorton is Mechanical Engineer who has transitioned from employee to entrepreneur. For many years, he worked at WL Gore, in both Arizona and Delaware. (WL Gore is best known for the Gore-Tex Brand). As an aside, I also worked there as a summer intern in 2006. Matt has since left that job to pursue his passion of 3D printing as a full time career. His business is PrintedSolid, which is both an online and brick and motor 3D printer retailer. He sells many desktop 3D printers and materials, mostly the ColorFabb brand. We discuss his transition into entrepreneurship. Then we get into a lot of 3D printing details and details on new materials for 3D printing.
