Put The Weight On My Shoulders (live, Gino Vannelli cover)-2001 [vox elim track] 2017 remaster

This incredible song from Gino Vannelli's "Nightwalker" album is the last tune on the first "side" if you're talking from a vinyl or cassette point of view...the whole album is a true masterpiece in his catalog. There's never been a karaoke track available to it, and the album has long been a favorite of mine and my friend Glenn Lukin's, who ran a very popular set of shows back in the 90's & 2000's. This was recorded in 2001, shortly before I moved to Austin, using a vocal elimination filter on the CD. The backing track turned out pretty nicely but did remove a portion of the guitar on the awesome solo. It also left a good deal of residual reverb that was impossible to remove here, from the original vocal. Someday I will remake this song. You should check out Gino's original, both the song and the album itself, "Nightwalker". This was the single sole time I ever sang this song live and I simply cannot believe I found this tape, quite by happenstance in February 2017.
