Putting The Servant In Service

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45) There are a variety of connotations and expectations that come with the term servant. Ultimately, to serve is both an undeserved gift and an honour, even if it doesn’t always feel that way... but what does that mean for us personally? When we struggle to serve with humility, how do we reconcile what we know about a true spirit of service with how we actually live it out?
