Puyallup Wrestler's Title IX Case Reaches Federal Court

from Clark County Today News

Kallie Keeler, 16, is asking a federal judge to issue an injunction after she says she was sexually assaulted by a male-identifying transgender wrestler during a Dec. 6, 2025 match. Her attorneys want her removed from the school environment, her mother notified before future matches against male athletes, and a bar on requiring her to wrestle males under Title IX. Principal Jason Smith and athletic coordinator Peter Collins were charged July 21 with failing to meet mandatory reporting requirements. https://www.clarkcountytoday.com/news/video-federal-court-hears-puyallup-wrestlers-alleged-sex-assault-title-ix-case/ #TitleIX #PuyallupSchools #WrestlingAssault #TransgenderAthletes #StudentSafety #WashingtonState #FederalCourt #WIAA #SchoolAccountability #GirlsSports
