PWU Latics Podcast - What A Difference A win Makes
from Progress With Unity Podcast Hosted by Progress With Unity
Send us Fan Mail This week's pod welcomes back statman from his trip to love land with his good lady, there is a certain glow about him that can only be described as 'afterglow'. Chatting about a defeat away at your local rivals isn't always the best way to get an evening of fun underway, but we do our best. Definitely a game of two parts, part of us went to Deepdale, the other part watched on Sky, same result though, we lost and, despite having the lion's share of possession couldn't find a way through the Preston defence. A different story on Tuesday though, what a difference a win makes, much more buoyant about the team, well we are out of the bottom three. Team selection, dives or pens, Perkins, Power and soft goals all discussed, plus the Will Grigg affair! Brentford on Saturday and the crew give their thoughts on the trip, I must say we aren't too positive about our chances and there was I thinking we'd turned a corner!
