Manchester producer, DJ and Somnia Records founder Pyrrhus has been building a strong presence in the melodic and progressive breaks scene. Recent releases across several respected labels have charted well, with multiple top three positions and a number one on Beatport's Electronica and Hype charts. His sound blends melody, atmosphere and movement, drawing on progressive house, electronica and the spirit of late '80s and early '90s rave. The music feels both nostalgic and forward-looking, carefully produced but always with the dancefloor in mind. Pyrrhus & Friends is a new bi-monthly residency on Yana Electronica Radio, showcasing new ideas, unreleased music and selected artists from the deeper, melodic and progressive world. Each episode features music from the Pyrrhus universe; forthcoming releases, studio exclusives and tracks from collaborators and artists he admires. Episode 1 is a two-hour solo showcase of his own music, including exclusives, unreleased material and a preview of what's coming in 2026. Expect melodic breakbeats, warm atmospheres and euphoric progressions. It is music built for late nights and open minds.
