Like money given as a birthday gift? - Since Cain showed no remorse or true repentance for murdering Abel, but simply appealed to God out of fear for his own life, why did God appoint a sign to protect him from retribution? - Why are some verses such as John 7:53-8:11 not in some of the earliest manuscripts that we have of the Bible?
