Qantas and Airbus have set a new non-stop flying world record with the A350 aircraft, which flew from Melbourne to France and returned via the United States, covering more than 23,000 kilometres in 24 hours and 24 minutes. The flight beat the previous record by approximately one hour and 40 minutes.
