'QC, That's Where' we have the only tug-of-war across the country's longest river

Send us Fan MailFor decades, two rival river towns have hosted the country's only Tug Of War across the Mississippi River. Port Byron, Illinois and LeClaire, Iowa set up teams to fight for victory, battling each other AND the heavy currents of the longest river in the country. Barry Long has served on the Tugfest Iowa Committee for 13 years.
