QGPod 51 - Artist Steve Javiel

Steve Javiel is is an Oakland based artist that is steadily building a following in the Bay Area. With paintings hanging prominently in multiple galleries, including a space in Bloomingdales in the Westfield Mall, his abstract works have found their way in front of many audiences over the last few years. The guys got into the process and the importance of finding your style as an artist, and the influence that music has had in his work. As an artist, you never know who is going to respond to your work, or what kind of reception a particular piece will have, and Steve shared some stories about navigating the dynamic art market.
