David was horrified. He said, “The rich man deserves to die for doing such a thing!” Nathan replied, “You are that man!King David confessed to Nathan, and Nathan told King David, “The Lord has taken away your sin. You will not die. But the son who has been born to you will die.”Finally, God made King David and Bathsheba’s son very sick, and he died. Sometime later, another son was born to King David and Bathsheba. The boy was named Solomon.
