Ocio begins by describing how first-line treatments for this population of patients have changed recently, and then provides results from a study investigating the use of isatuximab (an anti-CD8 monoclonal antibody) in combination with quadruplet regimens; bortezomib + cyclophosphamide + dexamethasone (VCd) or bortezomib + lenalidomide + dexamethasone (VRd). He provides efficacy, safety and tolerably data as well as measurable residual disease analysis, and concludes with his perspective on which treatments should be used for elderly patients.
