He leads IGCC’s Minerva project on The Evolving Relationship Between Technology and National Security in China. Mikko Huotari is Head of the Geoeconomics and International Security Program at the Mercator Institute of China Studies (MERICS) in Berlin, Europe's largest independent think tank dedicated to research on contemporary China. He is currently a visiting scholar at here at the 21st Century China Center.
