Qualcomm ❤️ Linux, F-Droid 2.0, VST3 Plugins In OBS!

This week, we're getting VST3 plugins running directly in OBS and leveling audio aromatically. SteamOS 3.8.28 has landed in the stable channel with a big pile of Mesa, kernel, VRAM, controller, and handheld compatibility updates. F-Droid 2.0 gets a ground-up rebuild, a much nicer UI, better search, and automatic app updates. And Qualcomm is bringing the Snapdragon X2 series to Linux, with upstream support for the Adreno GPU and Hexagon NPU and official Debian and Ubuntu support on the way. Video version of the show is available to Patrons, along with the Extended Chaos podcast featuring over an extra hour of LWDW content every week. Patreon Discord YouTube Timestamps: 00:00 Intro 01:30 Witcher 3 Remaster on Linux 09:21 F-Droid 2.0 17:58 Automatically fix volume levels in OBS 27:51 Big update for SteamOS 36:59 Snapdragon X2 supports Linux Topics: F-Droid 2.0 https://f-droid.org/2026/09/24/f-droid-2.0-a-new-chapter-for-android-freedom.html Audio leveling in OBS https://interfacinglinux.com/community/linuxaudiosofware/automatic-audio-levelling-for-livestreams-podcasts-vst3-obs-linux/ SteamOS Update https://steamdeckhq.com/news/new-steamos-update-performance-improvements/ Qualcomm hearts Linux https://www.qualcomm.com/news/onq/2026/09/snapdragon-summit-agentic-ai-pcs-linux
