Blissful and brutal- those are the two words I’d attach to my first years of being a single parent. But can I tell you what I’ve joyfully learned throughout 18 years of being a single parent? An act of obedience and a fulfilled desire of the heart don’t often look like we think they will. But goodness, the obedience is worth it and the fulfillment even more so.
