The SRA have introduced the SQE route in order to standardise the process, reduce the financial impact on students and improve accessibility. Brian and Emma discuss all the options now available, highlighting that funding for the SQE can be harder to find, however the new graduate apprenticeships could be an option. They talk about the journey to qualifying, including the options to experience different types of law during the process, and how those on the apprenticeship route benefit from support by the training provider as well as the firm.
