Quality Cam’s big target and Jonny Russell is coming HOME

Dundee played out a 3-3 thriller against Hibernian at Dens Park. The guys chew over a breathless contest, spotlighting the likes of Simon Murray, Tony Yogane and Luke Graham. However, it was Cam Congreve who had the final word with a magnificent late leveller – and he wants even more. At United, all the talk is about Johnny Russell after Courier Sport broke the story of his impending return to Tannadice (barring any late hitches) on Monday morning. We discuss why Russell, aged 35, could still prove to be an inspired signing for the Terrors. On the pitch, we look back on defeat at Motherwell – from Vicko Sevelj being caught on the grainy cameras of Fir Park to the intriguing squad rotation. And what is an acceptable result against St Mirren on Tuesday, given the looming Scottish Cup quarter-final against Falkirk? Alan Temple and George Cran, The Courier’s Dundee United and Dundee correspondents, respectively, are joined by ex-Evening Telegraph sports editor Graeme Finnan this fine Monday.
