Everything we do as caregivers either adds to or diminishes from QL for our parent. QL is made of mixture of peace, harmony, purpose, relationships, happiness, and growth. As caregivers we can enhance the external factors affecting QL for our loved one: Secure outside (hack, schemes, abuse, robbed) Safe inside (fall proof) Structure (order, balance, hierarchy, daily habits) Stable (battle rhythm, consistency, planning, ordering of day & days) Surprise (fun, once per day, mix up) Stimulating (hard to do, may req tricking) Serenity (calm, no rancor, peace) Please share your QL ideas to [email protected]
