Albrecht’s work addresses fundamental questions of the universe’s origin and its existence. Why does the matter around us exist in the state that it does? What doors of perception does quantum physics open, and what can it tell us about our existence? A fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Physical Society, and the Institute of Physics, Albrecht is especially interested in questions about the early universe, cosmic structure, and dark energy, among other related topics.
