Thobani Quinton Mgobhozi, better known to all of us as QUE, is a self-taught producer, DJ and performer, who rose to prominence as one half of the multi-award winning Gqom duo, Distruction Boyz. Credited with taking gqom from the streets to Hollywood, this charismatic artist recently embarked on a solo career, playing and producing a subgenre of Gqom called Umkhunkulu, characterised by its hardcore and hypnotic, heavy bass sounds.
