Queen Bee & SOULSEEk Present: Appearances

SOULSEEk (@soulseek_dj) and I (@queenbeedigital) teamed up to produce this mix remotely, from Portland and Seattle respectively. Similar to the format Scotto and I have been using to collaborate, we recorded in segments of 3 tracks and passed the ball back and forth until it felt complete. We set out to discover the places where our tastes intersect with an emphasis on finding pockets that venture closer to main stream pop. This set covers the gamut of house and breaks, and has a little bit of something for everyone. I kick things off, and SOULSEEk brings it on home. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed creating it.
