In 2015 Queen Elizabeth II became the longest-reigning monarch in British history, exceeding the tenure of her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria. And then 7 years later in 2022, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated another milestone—a 70-year reign—a Platinum Jubilee. She was loved and admired by many and was the longest-reigning English monarch ever. She was an anchor for her nation and the Commonwealth. But did she have an anchor?
