She was even seen her in the recent HBO documentary, Happy and You Know It, which features some of the biggest names of the genre. A graduate of Rutgers and raised in Princeton, New Jersey, Laurie Berkner will be back on home turf when her tour stops at McCarter Theatre for two performances on Sunday, March 22nd.
