Episode 128: Queen - The Miracle (1989) - Part 1 Now that Brian and Sarah have 'warmed up' by finishing a discussion on an EP (Martin Gore's 1989 offering Counterfeit e.p.), it's time to raise the stakes and take on an entire album again. And what an album they've selected! It's another release from 1989-- Queen's thirteenth studio album, The Miracle. However, our hosts decided they couldn't just jump into the album discussion right away. The Miracle was released three years after Queen's previous effort, A Kind of Magic (discussed in episodes 28, 29, & 30), but more than the just the recording of the album took place during that time. Brian and Sarah decide to spend this first episode exploring what was going on with the band, and its individual members, between the end of The Magic Tour and the recording of The Miracle. In this episode you'll hear about Brian, Roger, Freddie and John's various projects during 1987 and 1988.
