Queen Zixi of Ix Chapter 15 - The Theft of the Magic Cloak

In which Queen Zixi, undeterred by her fleeing soldiers and a fall into a lilac-bush, concocts a clever plan to infiltrate Princess Fluff’s palace by disguising herself as a sweet young maiden named Adlena in order to obtain a magical cloak. Upon successfully acquiring the cloak, Zixi’s hopes turn to sorrow when she discovers that stolen magic will not grant her true desires, leading her to ponder the longings and disappointments shared by creatures both great and small.
