Francis Plourde (he/him) is an award-winning journalist from Quebec. He co-produced the podcast Recall: How to Start a Revolution on the rise and fall of the FLQ, Quebec’s radical movement of the sixties. Since Francis joined Radio-Canada in 2007, he’s worked across the country - mostly in French, sometimes in English. His work has appeared on investigative programs such as CBC's acclaimed series, The Fifth Estate. Plourde is the host and producer of CBC Podcasts The Village: The Montreal Murders.The Village: The Montreal Murders - in the early 1990s, as AIDS tightens its grip on major cities around the world, the relative safety of Montreal’s nightlife becomes a magnet for gay men.
