Quench Your Thirst Now (Part 3)!

Memory Verse: ‭‭ "Do not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness (corruption, stupidity), but be filled with the [Holy] Spirit and constantly guided by Him" - Ephesians 5:18 AMP Bible Text:  ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭John 7:37‭-‬38 NKJV 37. On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” INSPIRATION: The phrase, "let him come to Me and drink" (John 7: 37), is a call to personal action. No one can or should drink for you to quench your own thirst. It's the degree to how thirsty you are that determines how eager you are to drink and the volume to consume to quench your thirst. Another factor is how refreshing to your taste is the object you want to use in satisfying your thirst. Not all liquid in-take can actually quench thirst. So what are you thirsty for?  Are you thirsty for knowlege? Reach out to the reservoir of knowledge in that field and cure your ignorance. Are you thirsty for love or friendship? Show yourself loving and friendly! Are you thirsty for growth? Eat right, eat healthy, whether it be edible food or assimilation of the right knowledge that aids your expansion, whatever growth you seek, do right by yourself to get the consumption of the requisite resource. If you're truly thirsty, nothing should be left to chance to quench it legitimately.  Be intentional not to use the wrong stuff to quench your thirst. Our memory verse says to do so is wickedness, corruption and stupidity (Eph. 5: 18 AMP). That leaves us to wonder how often we've been wicked to ourselves, leading corrupt ways to get to an otherwise legitimate end. If the process is wrong, the result would be flawed! To think otherwise amounts to stupidity. So, get your acts together as scriptures has recommended if you ever desire to quench your thirst and experience an overflow thereafter. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Determine whether you're satisfied at your current level of manifestation or you want more. Take the prescription of Jesus more seriously; thirst and drink more. Dig deeper PRAYER: Dear Lord, please quench my thirst and fill me till I burst out with the overflow of your deposits in me. Cause every step I take towards aligning with the Father at a deeper, more intimate relationship yield a hundredfold result, in Jesus name.
