Question to ask a trainer. What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day #168

I have lots of folks contacting me asking for recommendations for a dog trainer, because our social media reach I get requests from every single state in the US, Canada and many countries overseas. Unless I have seen someone work or know their work, i con't feel comfortable recommending anyone. Even with my recommendation I still tell folks to do your due dilegence since they may not be the correct fit for them. There is one thing though that you can look for when looking for a dog trainer, most well state some kind of certification or education, frankly certification hs little value to a pet dog owner, that has no bearing if the person can actual help you with your issue and get the results you are looking for. folks with certifications are going to argue that point, but the ONLY thing that matters is results, that is it, nothing else.
