Even the best, most sympathetic film and TV heroes aren't perfect. Especially when they're not supernatural creatures - as people say, we're all only human, and humans are prone to making mistakes. Some are relatively innocent and born of good intentions, others are obviously bad choices from the start but people make them anyway because they want to or they feel like they have no other choice.
