Do I have to be Catholic to go to heaven? Maybe you’re Catholic. Maybe you’re Protestant. Maybe you don’t belong to any church at all. Beneath the labels is a much deeper question: What did Jesus actually say about salvation—and am I willing to follow Him wherever He leads? In the first episode of Questions from the Wall, we bring that question to Christ without arguing, debating, or trying to defend a denomination. We look at John 3:16 and John 14:6, Peter and the keys, the Church Christ established, and the uncomfortable question that eventually confronted me in my own journey: If I am following Jesus, where is the Church He established today? This isn't an invitation to win an argument. It's an invitation to keep following Christ. Because perhaps the question isn't simply, “Do I have to be Catholic to go to heaven?” Perhaps the deeper question is: Am I willing to follow Jesus wherever He leads?
