Quick Tip Tuesday: Gratitude when you are ill

from Today’s Gut Health Tip · host Melissa Hall Klepacki, M.Ac.

I have a chronic disease.  Currently in remission but let me tell you I know what it's like to be ill.  Thankfully I also know how glorious it is to be well. On down days my first thoughts are always of gratitude.  I;ll do some visualization to see my body healing and my life "back to normal" as I wash down medication and lay on a heated Biomat. Getting sick will happen but it's how you heal mentally and physically that strengthens you and sets you up for future wellness. So today, I am sick.  I'm already grateful for the healing that is coming to me.  Grateful for the quiet and rest I will experience today.  Grateful I can send a few quick emails and be left alone to heal.  The sun is shining, the birds are singing and I, my friends, am healing. Ever looked at your illness this way?  Give it a try!
