Quicksilver

Coyotl, a slave in a seventh-century new world silver mine, must take on the work of two after some of his brethren escape. However, a very unusual stranger soon arrives, wanting to trade diamonds for Quicksilver, better known today as mercury. To coyotl the stranger is a sign of a coming new age. He is approached by the stranger in what he thinks is a dream and given a task to prove himself. Coyolt believes his success will secure his position in the new world, but this turns out not to be the case. The stranger has a different agenda.
