Quiet, Please - "Three" (Old Time Radio Drama, 1947)

Quiet, Please - "Three" (Old Time Radio Drama, 1947)https://www.oldtimeretroradio.com Originally broadcast on November tenth, nineteen forty-seven, Three is one of the most unsettling and minimalist episodes of Quiet, Please, a series known for its restrained narration and psychological depth. Told almost entirely through the voice of a single narrator, this episode explores isolation, repetition, and the fragile boundary between reality and perception. As the story unfolds, ordinary moments take on an eerie significance, drawing the listener into a quiet but deeply disturbing experience that lingers long after the broadcast ends. Quiet, Please distinguished itself during the Golden Age of Radio by rejecting sound-heavy dramatics in favor of stark storytelling and intimate atmosphere. Three stands as a defining example of that approach, relying on silence, timing, and subtle unease to create tension. 🎧 Fully restored and professionally remastered with enhanced audio.Source: OTRR.org – Certified Public Domain Collection.Restoration and curation by Old Time Retro Radio. 🎧 Listen to Quiet, Please and all our restored shows on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.📻 Search Old Time Retro Radio on your favorite podcast app to explore the complete...Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/old-time-horror-radio-old-time-radio--7219126/support.Support Old Time Retro Radio at https://www.patreon.com/oldtimeretroradio
