If you take questionable advice from someone online, are they going to help you out if you get fired? Nope.  ✔️ I would also recommend being strategic and careful about who you're listening to. Someone who's been in recruiting for all of five minutes and who thinks it's a wise idea to ride out a recession by doing the bare minimum is prolly not your friend. Just sayin. ✔️ I had a friend who tried to ride out the dot com bust by surfing the internet at work and doing, well, basically nothing. It was all fun and games until she got fired and had a tough time rebounding from it.✔️ There's a middle path between hustle culture and total DGAF. You don't have to work 16 hours a day or sell your soul to a company to be productive.
