Quintavius Johnson Steps Into Number 3 | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

Quintavius Johnson is donning the legendary number three at Georgia, stepping into a legacy worn by elite talent like Roquan Smith and NFL draftees, as he enters his third season ready to lead. After playing all 14 games last year and recording 35 tackles, Johnson is poised to anchor the defense as the starting jack linebacker — embodying grit, discipline, and relentless work ethic that Coach Kirby Smart has praised. He’s mentoring younger teammates, pushing them to film study and extra drills, even though he often flies under the radar — earning preseason All-SEC Third Team honors. Once a wildcat QB in high school, his versatility and toughness — forged through brutal “Bloody Tuesdays” practices — make him a force on the field. While still hungry to improve his understanding of situational football, Johnson knows this iconic number could be the spark that propels him to new heights and elevates Georgia’s defense.
