Quiz Lady, V for Vendetta, NYAD, and The Killer

In this episode of The Moviegoers Society, Sean Tajipour, the Mayor of Nerdtropolis, and Drew Munhausen, the Professional Media and Movie Mastermind, tackle a stacked lineup that jumps from comedy to political thriller to inspirational drama and slick assassin noir: Quiz Lady, V for Vendetta, NYAD, and The Killer. Sean and Drew kick things off with Quiz Lady, breaking down the sister dynamic, the rapid-fire humor, and why the film works as both a game show comedy and a heartfelt story about confidence and family. Then they revisit V for Vendetta, discussing its lasting cultural impact, iconic imagery, and how its themes feel just as relevant today. They also dive into NYAD, exploring the powerful performances at its center and the resilience-driven story that anchors the film. From there, they unpack The Killer, looking at its precision filmmaking, cool tone, and whether its slow-burn approach hits as hard as expected. 📽 Follow us on Letterboxd: https://letterboxd.com/dmunhausen/ https://letterboxd.com/nerdtropolis/ 📲 Stay connected: Facebook: https://www.Facebook.com/nerdtropolis Instagram: https://www.Instagram.com/nerdtropolis Twitter: https://www.Twitter.com/nerdtropolis TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@nerdtropolis
