Quote by Alvin Toffler: The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn. If you haven't read Toffler’s books, you need to read them. They are really good and an important essay on life and how life could go.And I think the issue we have here, in my opinion, is that a lot of people learn stuff, but it's on social media, which only gives you the view that you already have.Very, very few people in today's society can unlearn and relearn something based upon facts. If they're presented with facts, what happens? They retrench and they stick with what they have versus actually carefully considering unlearning what they thought they learned and then relearning what reality is.What are your thoughts?BTW, between the time I recorded this and am posting, my friend Rob Allen named part of this. It is called the Dunning Kruger Effect - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning%E2%80%93Kruger_effectRobert’s Substack is a reader-supported publication.
